New York City’s first yoga festival created for the community, by the community. The event was first organized in 2017 by Lara Land and NY YOGA + LIFE magazine, drawing 2000+ attendees to the Adam Clayton Powell State Office Building Plaza. In its’ second year, SOULFest continues the mission of bringing affordable access to yoga, fitness and health opportunities. The free festival offers classes in English and Spanish and reflects the diversity of New York City through engaging, inspirational and approachable programming.
SOULFest NYC is redefining and expanding the concept of the yoga festival experience, and what a ‘yogi’ looks like. This event is free, easily accessible by public transportation, and represents the diversity of our city. SOULFest NYC reflects our hope for what the future of the yoga community can be.
